Nature and Scope of This Dataset
This dataset illustrates the deterministic distribution generated by our calculation engine under controlled input conditions. It serves as an illustrative evaluation set with fixed sampling parameters to ensure full reproducibility. It does not represent real-world demographics or historical population birth patterns.
Reading the Tables and Metrics
Sign and house placements are presented as percentages; element, modality, and retrograde counts reflect cumulative calculations over the evaluation set. House calculations use a benchmark reference coordinate (120°E, 31°N, Placidus system). Planetary aspect counts use classical practice orbs (conjunction 8°, sextile 6°, square 8°, trine 8°, quincunx 3°, opposition 8°), distinct from the tighter 1° orb used by our predictive transit tools.
Why We Publish These Figures
First, for transparency: anyone running the engine with the same parameters will obtain identical results. Second, for calibration: these statistics serve as an internal benchmark for testing our predictive and backtesting algorithms. They document the deterministic behavior of the engine rather than asserting astrological truths.
Reproducible engine output over 5,000 synthetic birth moments sampled uniformly from 1960 to 2006. This is not a population sample.
Sign placement distribution (%). 12 columns are the signs, rows keyed by planet. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto show 0.00 in signs they did not reach during the 1960–2006 sampling window.

FAQ
Do these figures indicate that certain sun signs are more common?
No. The moments are sampled uniformly across time for illustrative demonstration rather than demographic census. Minor variations in sign percentages result from slight differences in month lengths across calendar years and reflect the temporal grid alone.
Why do retrograde frequencies vary across planets?
Retrograde motion is an apparent perspective effect caused by differing orbital velocities around the Sun. Mercury has a swift inner orbit and retrogrades three to four times each year; outer planets move more slowly and remain retrograde for longer spans. The percentages represent actual counts from this evaluation set.
Can I verify my individual birth chart using this table?
This table serves as a reference for engine behavior. Individual natal charts must be computed from your unique birth date, time, and coordinates. You can calculate your chart privately using our on-device tools.
