Editorial policy

This page explains how the Astrology Workbench produces content, how it is reviewed, which sources we cite, and how we handle errors and boundaries. Articles, calendars and page copy on the site follow the same editorial standards.

How content is produced

Articles are original work by the editorial team: we set the topic and outline first, then write from sources. AI is used only to assist drafting and organizing material; an editor checks facts, rules and wording passage by passage before publication. We do not republish, rewrite or recycle other sites' content.

Astrological data and sources

Calculated data such as planetary positions, houses and aspects comes from the Swiss Ephemeris, computed locally in your browser and open to verification. Methods and terminology draw on classical astrology literature (such as Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos) and publicly available authoritative ephemerides and progression references. Articles state the method used and its limits, keeping "computed" and "interpreted" apart.

Layers of fact, rule and inference

Content is separated into three marked layers: calculated facts (positions, aspect degrees, reproducible), astrological rules (the accepted interpretive tradition within a given system, with sources noted), and conditional inference (personalized interpretation written in conditional terms, never as a settled conclusion).

Updates and corrections

Every article carries an update date. When a method changes, a rule is revised, or an error is found, we update the content and the date together. If you spot a problem, tell us through the contact page; the editorial team verifies and corrects it.
