Monthly Horoscope: Astrological Overview & Guidance

Monthly horoscopes for all twelve signs, rewritten each month: the transits in play, what they do to work, money and relationships, and when the pressure eases.

How to read a monthly horoscope so it is actually useful

Every month we recalculate the transits from the Swiss Ephemeris and rewrite all twelve signs. A forecast written for everyone will always be coarser than one built from your own birth chart. These four habits close most of that gap.

1. Read your Rising sign first, then your Sun

Your Rising sign sets the house axes, and the houses are what tell you which part of life a transit lands in. Mars moving through your 10th house pushes on work and reputation. The same transit through your 4th lands at home. The Sun sign covers drive and mood. Read both if you can, and if you only have time for one, use the Rising sign.

2. Anchor the month to its New Moon and Full Moon

Most months turn on two dates. The New Moon opens a cycle, and intentions set then tend to hold. The Full Moon about two weeks later is when something started earlier either peaks or wraps up. Plan against those two dates rather than against the 1st of the month.

3. During a retrograde, revise instead of launching

Mercury stations retrograde three or four times a year, and it is the one people actually notice. The response that works is unglamorous: recheck the contract, back up the files, confirm the booking, finish what is already open. Signing something new in the shadow period is not cursed, but it usually needs a second pass later.

4. Layer your own timing on top

A monthly forecast is weather for everybody. Your chart decides where it hits. AstroStarCheck also computes firdaria periods, a Persian-Hellenistic technique that gives each chapter of a life a planetary ruler. It is a quick way to see why one month carries more weight for you than the one before it.
