What is the North Node?

One of the Moon's orbital nodes crossing the ecliptic — in astrology, the direction your soul is growing toward.

It opposes the South Node (the familiar path) and is often called the soul's lesson.

The North Node points where your life is heading; the South Node is the familiar path behind you.
